Joining Cleanpass is completely free. There is no sign-up fee, no monthly subscription, and no hidden charges. We make money through a flat £4.99 booking fee paid by the client — not by you.
No — zero commission, ever. You set your own rates and keep 100% of what you charge. The only fee is the £4.99 booking fee paid by the client when they make a booking through our platform.
All cleaners must complete an enhanced DBS check, provide proof of identity (passport or driving licence), and have public liability insurance. We guide you through each step during onboarding and can help arrange your DBS check and insurance through our trusted partners.
You need public liability insurance to work through Cleanpass. If you don't already have it, we'll help you get covered through our partner Protectivity from as little as £5/month. You can also upload an existing policy if you already have one.
Once verified, your profile appears on our Discover page. Clients search by area, view your profile, services, rates, and reviews, then book directly. You receive a notification and can accept or decline the booking.
Clients pay securely through Cleanpass when they book. Once you complete the clean and the client confirms, payment is released to your bank account. Payouts are processed weekly via bank transfer.
Absolutely. You set your own availability, working days, hours, and travel radius during onboarding. You can update these at any time from your dashboard. You're self-employed — Cleanpass never dictates your schedule.
Cleanpass covers three markets: domestic (regular home cleans, one-offs, end of tenancy), commercial (offices, short-term lets, Airbnb turnovers), and post-construction (builder cleans and renovation clean-ups). You choose which services to offer.
We have a resolution process in place. If a client raises a concern, our team will work with both sides to find a fair outcome. We believe in supporting our cleaners — not penalising them unfairly.
Yes. There are no lock-in contracts or notice periods. You can deactivate your profile at any time from your dashboard. Any outstanding payments for completed work will still be processed.
